Hello, I’m Marnie

I have lived here full-time since June 2018. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta.

I’ve got my BFA (painting) 1988, taught art for fifteen years with CBE. I love community and social engagement work.

My Story

Keeping the gallery operating since 2019 through the various challenges that included the pandemic and creating a second home… soon to be third home - and all the renovations that go with those relocations. The biggest achievement with all of this was having amazing community support! No small task! Creston is great that way!

Contact

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.

Altered Perceptions Through Grief and Mourning

Since the death of her daughter in 2017, Robin Wiltse has been exploring the stories and narratives around death, the ensuing madness, and the quest for healing. This exploration has deeply altered her perceptions of the natural world.

Wiltse searches for ways to explain her experiences to herself and to the viewer by transforming these explanations into images and stories. This work initiates an important conversation with the viewer as death is a difficult topic but one that is necessary for healing and growth
